Hole 9 - Par 4

a panorama of Hole9 1

This down-hill par four rewards the accurate tee shot that is long, positioned between the left and right fairway fair bunkers. The landing zone is narrower than most and should you miss the fairway it will be difficult to hold this approach shot on the putting surface if spin is not employed on the ball. The green is small and divided into two distinct levels with the right elevated and the left concaved similar to a catcher¡¯s mitt. The full water carry is demanding with the green hard against the rock wall and a bail out area is provided but not the easiest position for a third shot approach. Should you miss the green long and left a small pot style bunker will provide a challenging recovery shot with a green sloping away toward the lake and long right will find a tight cut grass low and should you find the bunker at the right edge of green you will be required to get the ball up quickly to carry the high lip to find the contour of the putting surface.
