Hole 6 - Par 3

a panorama of Hole6 1

The elevated tees provide a great view to this challenging short hole. With a long narrow green the tee shot requires precision and distance control for the tee shot. Your approach can vary depending upon you ball flight. A fade allows access from the left center of the green by utilizing the contour of the land. A draw can be played as the approach to the green and will help hold the ball in position when reaching the putting surface. Both shots work well to reach the ¡°Punch Bowl¡± type putting surface character that gathers and holds the tee shot. However, should the player strike a shot that is weak and to right, an enormous bunker extends from the front right green approach along the entire right side and right rear green protecting the numerous pin positions along the right side of green. The most demanding putting surface is on the short left side of green with a deep pot bunker fronting the green and two pot bunkers as the mid left side of green. The putting surface is elevated and any shot left will find a grassy hollow and a shot right of this position will roll out to the lower right side of green leaving a challenging putt for birdie.
